Pull ink drawer out from side of meter. Remove ink tray.
If you see an ink tray message on your home screen,
follow these steps to remove it and enable postage printing.
From the home screen, select Menu, then Maintenance.
Select Replace Waste Tank.
Important: Please do not use your
meter without the waste Ink tray installed.
Select OK, I understand to proceed.
Select Yes, tray is replaced.
The ink tray message on your home screen will
now disappear and postage printing will be enabled.
Dispose of used ink tray
in envelope that new
ink tray came in.
Remove ink tray from envelope and set both tray
and envelope aside.
Insert new ink tray
into ink drawer and
close drawer.
WARNING:
Ink may stain skin or permanently
damage clothing. Gloves are included
in the kit for your convenience.

Confirm that the waste ink tray is installed before proceeding.

Confirm Tray Replacement

Select 'Yes, tray is replaced' to confirm the action.

Replace Ink Tray

Remove New Ink Tray from Bag

Remove the new ink tray from its plastic bag.

Remove Used Ink Tray from Drawer

Pull out the ink drawer and remove the used ink tray. Warning: Ink may stain.

Dispose of Used Ink Tray

Dispose of the used ink tray in the envelope from the new one.

Insert New Ink Tray

Insert the new ink tray into the ink drawer and close it.

Resetting the Ink Tank Counter

Navigate to Printer Maintenance

Access Maintenance Mode via Options, Page Down, Advanced Features, Maintenance Mode, Printer Maintenance.

Select Reset Waste Tank Option

From the PM MAINTENANCE screen, select Reset Waste Tank.

Confirm Waste Ink Tank Reset

Select 'Yes' to confirm resetting the waste ink tank counter to zero.

Enter Replacement Code

Enter the 4-digit code supplied in the replacement kit.

Restart Meter

Select 'Press to restart' to enable postage printing.
