Overview

This document describes the POINT Rechargeable Vacuum Cleaner, model POPENCIL, a pencil stick vacuum designed for household use.

Function Description

The POINT Rechargeable Vacuum Cleaner is a cordless stick vacuum designed for dry environments. It features a main body with a power switch, mode switch, and indicator light, a removable battery pack, and a dust cup. The vacuum can be used as a handheld unit or with an extension wand and motorized floor head for floor cleaning. Various attachments, including a crevice tool and a 2-in-1 brush tool, are provided for versatile cleaning. The device also includes a wall-mounted dock for convenient storage and charging.

Usage Features

Assembly:

  1. Slide the dust bin onto the hand vacuum until it clicks.
  2. Slide the wand onto the hand vacuum until it clicks.
  3. Push the wand into the motorized floor nozzle until it clicks.

Wall Mounting: The wall-mounted dock allows for convenient storage. To install, place the mount against a wall and mark drill holes at a height of 40-55 cm. Drill the holes, insert screws through the mount, and tighten them firmly. Once installed, the assembled vacuum cleaner and accessories can be placed on the wall mount.

Charging and Runtime: The vacuum offers two charging modes. To charge, plug the adapter into the charging connector on the appliance handle. The blue light will begin to flash during charging.

  • Low mode: Provides approximately 40 minutes of runtime.
  • High mode: Provides approximately 15 minutes of runtime. A full charge takes 3.5-4.5 hours.

Indicator Light Function (Red/Blue): The indicator light provides feedback on the vacuum's status:

  • Main motor overcurrent/short circuit: Red light on for 10 seconds; machine stops working. If the switch is pressed when the device is on, it will not turn on.
  • Brush current/short circuit: Red and blue lights flash alternately; main motor works normally.
  • No-load protection (main motor): Blue indicator on for 2 seconds, then red indicator blinks at 2 Hz for 3 seconds (6 times); system shuts down.
  • Overvoltage/overcurrent of the adapter: Red light blinks 10 times at 1 Hz.
  • Battery pack undervoltage shutdown (2.75V): Red light blinks for 10 seconds (2 Hz) (20 times); blue light flashes after switching off.
  • Battery low voltage protection: If battery pack voltage is ≤ 14V, it cannot be charged; red light blinks at 2 Hz for 10 times.
  • NTC Short circuit or open circuit: If battery pack is not charged or discharged, red light blinks at 2 Hz for 14 times.

Maintenance Features

Cleaning the Filters:

  1. Turn the outlet filter and separate the HEPA filter from the hand vacuum.
  2. The filter can be rinsed in water.
  3. Allow the filter to dry completely before placing it back into the dust container.

Emptying the Dust Cup: To empty the dust container, press the emptying button. Open the container, empty the dust, and then close the container cover.

Cleaning the Dust Cup and Filters (Detailed):

  1. Press the button to rotate the dust container and move it down and away from the appliance to remove it.
  2. Turn the inlet filter and separate the filter.
  3. The filter can be rinsed in water.
  4. Allow the filter to dry completely before placing it back into the dust container.

Cleaning the Motorized Brush: The turbo brush has a roller end cover on its side. Pull the roller end cover by hand to remove the brush for cleaning.

Safety Warnings:

  • Read the entire manual carefully before use.
  • This product is for household use only, not industrial or outdoor use.

  • Not suitable for individuals with physical, sensory, or mental disabilities or lack of experience/common sense (including children) unless supervised.

  • If the charger or plug is damaged, stop use and contact professional maintenance personnel.
  • Do not vacuum hot materials (cigarette butts, matches, hot ashes), ultrafine substances (lime, cement, wood chips, gypsum powder, ash, toner), large sharp fragments (glass, nails, pins), hazardous materials (solvents, scale remover), chemicals (acids, detergents), or flammable/explosive liquids (gasoline, alcohol products).
  • Keep airflow channels and moving parts away from long hair, loose clothing, fingers, and other body parts. Do not hold the vacuuming tube, attachment suction head, or tools to eyes, ears, or mouth.
  • If leaks, motor overheating, fuselage overheating, abnormal sound/odor, or weak suction occur, stop use immediately and contact professional maintenance personnel.
  • Use only the provided adapter for charging. Other adapters may cause battery malfunction or excessive heating.
  • Turn off power and unplug the adapter if not using the product for a long time.
  • Store the machine in a dry place after use; damp places can affect insulation and service life.
  • Regularly check and clean the dust cup. Keep ventilation paths clear to prevent suction drop, motor heating, and reduced vacuum cleaner service life.
  • Do not use lubricant, detergent, or polishing agent when cleaning the product.
  • Do not attempt to repair the machine yourself if it breaks down; contact after-sales support.
