Operation Warnings
Check brake lever travel
Depress the brake lever fully.
Measure the clearance between
the lever and brake block.
Clearance should be no more than
3/4” (1.9 cm).
Excessive travel indicates a need
to adjust the brake cable. Refer to
the mechanical brake adjustment
information on page 56.
Secure the hood
The hood of the snowmobile protects the operator from moving and hot
parts as well as aiding in sound emission control and other functions.
Never operate a snowmobile with the hood open or removed.
Check lights
Start the engine and ensure that both the headlight and taillight operate.
