Lubrication Recommendations
Suspension
To maintain rider comfort and to retard wear of the pivot shafts,
lubricate the suspension pivot shafts with POLARIS Premium All
Season Grease several times during the season and again before summer
storage each year. Lack of lubrication will result in reduced performance
and a less comfortable riding experience.
TIP:The stars in the following illustration indicate lubrication points. A grease
gun kit complete with grease and adaptors is available to lubricate all
fittings on POLARIS snowmobiles. See page 82 for the part numbers of
POLARIS products.
IMPORTANT: Make it a weekly practice to check for loose bolts and
nuts on the suspension system. If any loose bolts are found on the rail be
sure to clean the threads and apply LOCTITE 262 before tightening.
