KEY SWITCH
When the key is in the ‘ON’ position (turned clockwise), the display will light up
and all accessories may be turned on. When the key is in the ‘OFF’ position, the
car will not accelerate but accessories and lights will remain on for approximately
30 seconds
. Remove the key from the ignition when vehicle is not in use to
prevent unauthorized use.
ZERO SPEED DETECT
If the vehicle is moving while the key switch is on and accelerator pedal up (not
depressed), the electric motor will resist vehicle motion. This feature will not
work unless the main contactor is engaged.

Always bring the vehicle to a complete stop before changing the posion of the
forward/reverse switch.
NOTICE
Do not leave the key in the ‘ON’ posion when not in use. Doing so will discharge
the baeries.
NOTICE
Never turn the key to the “OFF” posion while the vehicle is in moon. This could
lead to loss of speed control and loss of control of the vehicle. This can cause an
accident and may result in death or serious injury.
