FUEL RECOMMENDATION
NOTICE
Prolonged exposure to petroleum based products may damage paint. Always
protect painted surfaces when handling fuel.
NORTH AMERICAN FUEL
For peak performance, POLARIS recommends the use of fresh quality,
non-oxygenated 91 octane level fuel or above. Although 87 octane fuel is
usable, some engine performance will be lost and fuel economy will decrease.
NEVER use unleaded fuels with an ethanol rating of E15 or E85 as severe
engine damage may occur.
The tables below indicate the recommended fuel for your Patriot engine. Use the
indicated fuel setting with your gauge when choosing fuel.
IMPORTANT
NEVER use fuel containing more than 10 percent ethanol, including E85 or 88
E15 fuel, in your snowmobile.
