4. Pull the middle axle (C) straight out of the frame.

MID DRIVE SHAFT
INSTALLATION
(6X6)
1. Slide the middle axle (A) into the bearing carrier hub
(B).

2. Apply Anti--Seize Compound onto the middle
gearcase output shaft splines. Reinstall the
middle driveshaft (A) onto the middle gearcase
output shaft. Be sure to align the roll pin holes of
the middle driveshaft (A) and middle gearcase.
3. Install a new roll pin to secure the middle driveshaft
(A) to the middle gearcase.

4. Lift bearing carrier into place and install bolt to
upper control arm. Torque bolt to 35 ft. lbs. (48
Nm).
