Cable Assembly
5. Remove the two brake caliper assembly
attaching bolts.
6. Clean disc, caliper body, and pistons with brake
cleaner or alcohol.

DISASSEMBLY /
INSPECTION
1. Loosen three screws on the parking brake cable
assembly.
2. Lift the parking brake cable assembly from the
caliper .

3. Lift the plunger , washer, and compression spring
from the caliper body. Inspect components and
replace if needed.
4. Remove the piston from the caliper. Inspect the
caliper piston for nicks scratches or damage and
replace if necessary.
5. Inspect caliper body for nicks, scratches or wear.
Measure bore size and compare to specifications.
Replace if damage is evident or if worn beyond
service limit.
