Engine Oil
Oil Change
Oil may be hot. Do not allow hot oil to come into contact with skin, as
serious burns may result.
Note: Drain the oil while the engine is warm to assure rapid and complete
draining.
1. Start the engine and allow it to run for a few minutes. Stop the
engine.
2. Position the fuel valve lever to OFF.
3. Open the service door.
4. Remove the oil filler cap /
dipstick (A).
5. Remove the drain bolt (B) and
drain the oil. The generator will
have to be raised off the ground
and supported while the oil
drains. Make sure the wheels are
in LOCK position before the oil
drain process.
