Why is my Polaroid PDM-0824 not playing discs?

  Your Polaroid Portable DVD Player might not be playing discs for several reasons. Ensure the disc cover is completely closed and that a disc is properly placed inside the DVD drive with the label side up. The disc itself may be dirty or warped, so try cleaning or replacing it. Also, verify that the player's region code matches the DVD's region code. If there's moisture on the lens, remove the disc and let the player dry for at least two hours. Finally, check if the battery is dead; if so, charge it or use the AC or car adapter.
