8. TROUBLESHOOTING
PROBLEM CAUSE SOLUTION
T
he appliance does not turn on. No power.
Check that Moppy has been
plugged into the power supply
as shown in Chapter 1..
No steam is coming out Out of water.
Appliance turned off.
Misalignment of the ar-
rows.
Safety lock.
Disconnect Moppy from the
power supply, fill the water
tank and wait about 10 se-
conds, then use the appliance.
Turn the appliance on.
Check that the arrow of the ba-
se is aligned with that of the
brush.
If 60 sec. have elapsed since
the brush started charging,
Moppy enters into safety lock.
Remove the brush and wait 15
sec.
Cloth dripping. Too much time spent re-
sting on the base during
steaming.
Decrease time resting on base.
Release of steam/water after
removing the brush.
Water residue in the cir-
cuit.
This is normal and stops within
a few seconds.
