Remedy of faults

Maintenance and cleaning
Carry out the cleaning and servicing measures described in the following at regular intervals in order to ensure proper
function of the individual units. The cleaning cycle depends on the degree of soiling/pollution of the garden pond. Fol-
low the warning and safety information!
WARNING
Possible death or severe injury from hazardous electrical voltage!
Prior to reaching into the water, isolate (switch off and disconnect) all units/devices used in the water.
Isolate the device (disconnect from the power supply) before carrying out any work on it.
Cleanfilter
Prior to starting cleaning and servicing of both filter and submersion unit, switch the submersion unit off and open the
unit in question ( Installation). When finished, thoroughly close the units again and check all connections and lines
for perfect function.
How to proceed:

1. Pull out all foam filter at the same time.
2. Remove all bio balls
3. Rinse foam filters, container and bio balls under running water.
4. Reinsert the foam filters into the container at the same time.
Ensure that the foam filters are correctly arranged and aligned!
5. Return the bio balls to the chamber on the outlet side.
6. Close the container. ( Installation)
Replacethe different filters
Replace old filters by new filters. The procedure is identical to that described for filter cleaning. ( Cleaning filters)
