If the air requirement is too high, you may need a larger compressor. Check and replace any damaged hoses. Remove and clean or replace a restricted check valve. Tighten any loose fittings to prevent air leaks, and clean or replace a restricted air intake filter. Never operate the compressor without the air filter. Refer to the “Air Filter” paragraph in the “Maintenance “ section.
