Approvals/Certications
The Xstream regulator series is approved according to the EU Directive for
Personal Protective Equipment, 89/686/EEC and meets or exceeds the applicable
(see Technical Data for full detail) requirements of :
EN 250:2014 for cold water diving
NORSOK U-101 for diving in excess of 50m depth (excluding requirements for
CO2 content and temperature of inspired gas)
EN 738-1 for oxygen pressure shocks Type approvement certicate no 020341,
020342 and 020343 is issued by:
SGS United Kingdom Ltd.,
Ellesmere Port,
CH65 3EN, United Kingdom.
Notied body number 0120.
Production quality assessment according to article 11 B of 89/686/EEC is
assessed by:
SGS United Kingdom Ltd.,
Ellesmere Port,
CH65 3EN, United Kingdom.
Independent performance testing according to directive and standards is
conducted at accredited laboratories Diving and Naval Medicine Centre, Swedish
Armed Forces, and Det Norske Veritas, Norway.
