PREVIOUS USE INSPECTIONS
Inspect:
• Wire rope
• Power supply
• Rigging
• Platform
• Hoist
Verify all parts
are present, in proper
working order and are
not damaged.
Bolts, nuts, and clamps must be well secured.
Make sure hoist is secured to the stirrup with SAE Grade 5
fasteners and lock nuts are properly installed.
NOTE
When using the hoist in a dirty environment that contains
epoxy, paint, cement, sand blast residue, or corrosive material,
inspect the operation of the secondary overspeed brake several
times per day. Protective hoist covers are recommended in these
environments. Contact your hoist supplier.
