Grass collection bag full indicator (8a)
1. When this flap remains open as you work, it means that the grass
collection bag is not full (air flowing freely through the grass collection
bag) (Fig. 12).
2. When this flap remains closed, it means that the grass collection bag
is full and needs to be emptied (no airflow through the grass collection
bag) (Fig. 13).

Emptying the grass collection bag
To remove the grass collection bag, raise the deflector guard (16) with
one hand and remove the grass collection bag (9) holding its handle
with your other hand (Fig. 14). To maintain safety, the deflector guard
automatically closes to the rear discharge position when you remove the
grass collection bag.
