5. After the spark plug is seated, tighten with a spanner to
compress the washer.
Change and clean the air filter
Soiled air filters reduce the engine power by supplying too little air
to the carburettor.
Regular checks are therefore essential.
1. Unclip the air filter cover and remove the sponge filter element.
2. To avoid objects falling into the air tank, replace the air filter
cover.
3. Wash the filter element in warm soapy water, rinse and allow to
dry naturally.
IMPORTANT: Never clean the air filter with petrol or
flammable solvents.
WARNING! Never run the engine without the air filter
element installed.
