Why is my Powercom 800VA UPS not providing the expected runtime?

  If your Powercom UPS doesn't perform to its expected runtime, it could be due to several reasons. First, the battery might be undercharged or depleted because of frequent power outages; in this case, recharge it by leaving the UPS plugged in and switched on. Second, the power required by your equipment might slightly exceed the UPS's capacity; try unplugging at least one piece of equipment from the UPS outlets. Finally, the battery could be worn out, so consider replacing it.

  If the full-time surge protection outlets on your Powercom UPS stop providing power, it's likely that the circuit breaker button has popped up due to an overload. To fix this, unplug at least one piece of equipment from the full-time surge protection outlets. Then, switch off the UPS, wait 5 seconds, reset the circuit breaker by pressing down the breaker button, and switch the UPS back on.
