If nothing appears on the LCD display, check the following: * Ensure the LCD display is switched on by pressing the ON / OFF key. * Verify the battery is correctly inserted, matching the terminals as described in the 'Inserting / replacing the battery' section, ensuring it touches all contacts. * Replace the battery if its voltage is lower than 2.1 V, following the instructions in the 'Inserting / replacing the battery' section.
