Danger of Injury
❐ Keep children and animals away from the vibrating dumbbell and packaging material.
❐ The vibrating dumbbell should not be used by people (including children) with impaired
sensory or mental faculties or who do not have adequate experience and/or knowledge
of such dumbbells, unless they are supervised by a person responsible for their safety,
or have received instructions from such a person on how to use the vibrating dumbbell.
Children must be supervised in order to ensure that they do not play with the vibrating
dumbbell.
❐ Do not use the vibrating dumbbell if it is damaged.
❐ Only use the vibrating dumbbell when it is fully and correctly assembled and in good
working order!
❐ Caution! The safety level of the vibrating dumbbell can only be maintained if it is regularly
checked for damage. In the interest of your own safety, you should therefore inspect
the vibrating dumbbell for damage each time before you use it. Defective parts must be
replaced immediately by a specialist. The vibrating dumbbell may no longer be used until
it has been repaired.
❐ Before doing any strength and fi tness exercises, fi rst do a few warm-up exercises with-
out the vibrating dumbbell. Begin the exercises slowly and only increase the intensity of
the exercises gradually until you reach the desired performance level that you are still
capable of maintaining. We wish to explicitly point out that improper use of the vibrating
dumbbell and excessive or incorrect use can be detrimental to your health.
❐ Familiarise yourself with the vibrating dumbbells before you fi rst use them. Switch on
the vibrating dumbbells using the On/Off switch to familiarise yourself with the vibrating
sensation.
❐ Do not attempt to weigh down the vibrating dumbbells with weights other than those
recommended by the manufacturer!
Health-Specifi c Safety Instructions
❐ If your health means that you belong to a risk group, you should always consult your
doctor before using the vibrating dumbbell. If necessary, coordinate your programme of
exercises with him.
❐ If you have not engaged in sport for a prolonged period, have problems with your heart
or cardiovascular system or orthopaedic problems, please consult your doctor before
using the vibrating dumbbell. Explain that you wish to train using this device and have a
general check of your fi tness carried out.
❐ Pregnant women should not use the vibrating dumbbell or should use it only after consul-
tation with their doctor.
❐ Caution! Stop the exercises immediately if you suddenly feel weak or dizzy. If you feel
sick, have pains in the chest or arms, an irregular heartbeat or other unusual symptoms,
seek medical attention immediately.
❐ Make sure that the training room is well ventilated while you are doing your exercises.
❐ Do not use the vibrating dumbbell immediately after a meal or after consuming alcohol.
