1. Remove all packing material, any stickers, and the plastic band around
thepowerplug.
2. Wash any removable parts as instructed in the CARE AND CLEANING section.
3. Cleantheinsideofyourcoffeemakerbyrunningtwofullbrewingcycles
withwateronly(nocoffee).
a) Pourfresh,coldwaterintothewaterreservoiruptothe10-cupmark.
Then, place the carafe on the carafe plate:
b)Plugthepowercordintoastandardelectricaloutlet.
c)PushtheBREW(“COLAR”)buttontoimmediatelyushwaterthrough
the coffee maker.
d)Oncethecycleisnished,discardthewater.
e) Turnofftheappliance,unplugit,andletitcoolfor15minutes
before repeating the process.
