Care and Cleaning
During the Auto Clean™ Cycle Function:
1. Thecoffeemakerwillbrewapproximately5cupsofcleaningsolution.
 Anyremainingsolutionwillbeheldinthecoffeemakerfor30minutes
 beforebeingbrewed.
2. Thecoffeemakerwillcontinuebrewingtherestofthesolution.
3. WhenthecoffeemakercompletestheAutoClean™cycle(45–60minutes),
 theappliancewillshutoffautomatically.
4. Beforeusingthecoffeemakertobrewcoffeeagain,ushwaterthrough
through the coffee maker (see the GETTING STARTED section).
Troubleshooting
PROBLEM POSSIBLE CAUSE SOLUTION
The coffee maker does
not turn on.
The coffee maker
is not plugged in.
Make sure appliance is
pluggedintoaworking
outlet.
The coffee maker
is leaking.
Water reservoir
maybeoverlled.
Cover may not be
correctly placed
on carafe.
Carafe may not be
correctly placed on
the carafe plate.
Makesurethewater
reservoir has not been
lledbeyondthe12-
cup line.
Make sure the lid is
correctly placed and
tightened on the carafe.
Make sure the carafe is
placed securely onto
the carafe plate.
