Die Beiichtungsautomatik mit elektrischer Biendenwertubertragung
ermogiicht das Lichtmessen bei voll geoffneter Objektlvblende und
damit strahlendhellem Sucherbild. Die Objektive mit elektrischer
Biendenwertubertragung besitzen entsprechende Kontaktstifte. Es
ist Jedoch auch mdglich, alle ubrlgen Objektive ohne Blendenelektrik
mit dem PRAKTICA-GewindeanschluB zu verwenden. Die Messung
erfolgt dann mit Arbeitsbiende, wobei das Sucherbild mehr oder
weniger, je nach gewdhlter Blende, verdunkelt wird.
Fur beide MeBmethoden bieten sich zwei Verfahren an:
a) Vorwahi der Beliditungszeil und MeBabgleich durdi Ver-
ondern des Blendenwertes,
b) Festlegen einer bestimmten Blendenzahl und Abgleich
durdi Verdndern der Belichtungszeit.

This system enables light metering at fully open aperture, and thus;
with a bright viewfinder image; the diaphragm values are trans¬
mitted electrically through contact pins at the lenses designed for
this purpose. It is, however, also possible to use any other lenses
^DA electric value transmission, provided, they have the
PRAKTICA lens mount thread. Metering is then made with the taking
aperture, with the viewfinder image somewhat darkened according
to the selected aperture.
Both methods of light metering offer two possibilities:
a) shutter speed presettif\g and measurement balancing by
altering the diaphragm value,
b) determination of a certain diaphragm number and
balancing by altering the shutter speed.
