If the modules are connected in series, the overall  voltage may reach high values. When
this type of layout is used, the equivalent voltage is the sum of the voltage of each
individualpanel.Onlymoduleswithidenticalcurrentcharacteristicsmust beconnectedin
series.


Donotdirectlyconnectdifferenttypesofmodulestogetheronthesamestring.


Amaximumof6modulesperstringareallowed.Theoverallvoltagemustalways
and in any case be less than the maximum system voltage and lower than the
invertermaximuminputvoltage.

Modulesofastringmusthaveidenticalorientationandinclination.
