Whendesigningthesystem,avoidgroundloops.Thenegativeeffectsofpartialshadingonpower
generationcanbeminimisedthroughaccurateroutingofeachstring.
Before connecting the strings to the  inverter, make sure that the wiring has been carried out
correctly. If the open‐circuit voltage (Voc) or the  short circuit current (Isc)  differ from those
indicatedinthespecifications,donotconnectthesystemandcheckthewiring.
Duringinstallation,rigorouslycheckalltheelectricalconnectionsandtheconnectorsairtightlock.
Electriccablesmustnotbesubjecttostressormechanicalloadsandtheconnectorsmustbeused
only to connect the electrical circuit and never as switches to enable or interrupt power
generation.Theconnectionsbetweenmodulesandtheconnectionofthemoduletotheinverters
mustbemadeusingtheMulti‐Contactcableswhichareprovidedtogetherwiththejunctionbox.
Thecableshavea2.5mm

sectionandare800mmlong.
The wires used for module installation must be solar type cables, with a 2.5 mm
2
 diameter and
mustresisttoavoltageof1000Vandatemperatureof90°C.
If the installation site is exposed to particular climatic conditions, use appropriate conduits in
ordertoprotectcablesagainstdamage.


ratings, multiply the Voc and Isc values by factor 1,25.Hence please oversize
electronicdevicesusinga1,25safetyfactor.
NOTE
MCPHmodulesaresubjecttoreductionofinitialpoweroutputduringthefirst10‐
20daysofoperation.Thevaluesdeclaredinthetechnicalspecificationsreferto
stabilizedoutput;hence,voltageatinstallationmaybeupto10‐15%higherthan
expected,duringthefirsthoursofoperation.Installationsizingmusttakeinto
considerationthispossiblevariation.
