      If your PRASTEL Control Unit gate doesn't open when commanded, several issues could be the cause. First, check that the master switch has power. Then, ensure there are no active STOP commands connected to the STP input, and if the STP input isn't used, verify the jumper is correctly installed. Also, inspect the fuses and replace any that are burnt out with a fuse of the same value. Finally, check the motor power cable connection at the terminal board, and replace the cable if necessary.

      If your PRASTEL Control Unit gate moves and then stops during opening or closing, the motor force might be insufficient, or the obstacle detection system (OBS) trigger threshold may be too low. Ensure the gate leaves are aligned and lubricate if necessary. Increase the OBS trigger threshold by turning the OBS trimmer clockwise. If this doesn't resolve the issue, increase the FOR trimmer clockwise and reprogram from RESET.

      If the flashing light on your PRASTEL Control Unit only functions for 4 seconds and the gate moves slowly when using the 12V optional battery, it is likely that there is no mains voltage and the control unit is running solely on battery power. Check the mains voltage supply. Functioning is normal because it is only powered by the battery.
