Ventilation System
The Chef Express oven ventilation system uses two 3400 RPM cooling fans (dimensions: 7in/172mm
x 6in/150mm) that exhaust all of the hot air from the magnetrons and electronic compartment.
Testing Cooling Fans
WARNING: For safety purposes, manually discharge capacitors before troubleshooting
cooling fans due to proximity.
1) Unplug the unit and remove the rear panel.
2) Manually verify the cooling fan spins freely and not seized.
• If cooling fan is seized / not spinning, replace the cooling fan.
3) Disconnect the cooling fan cables from the connectors and check for continuity.
• If the meter registers continuity, then the cooling fan is fine.
• If the meter registers no continuity or open, replace the cooling fan.
