Why are the power and loop indicator lights off on my Premier Pet Power Supply?

  If the power and loop indicator lights are off on your Premier Pet Power Supply, start by checking that the power adapter is correctly plugged into the fence transmitter and the outlet. If plugged into a GFCI or RCD outlet, check and reset the circuit if needed. Verify the outlet is working with another device. Try a different 120-volt outlet. If issues persist without a surge protector, consider replacing the fence transmitter and/or power adapter.

  If your Premier Pet Power Supply receiver collar needs to be held on top of the boundary wire to activate, try replacing the battery first. If that doesn't work, adjust the boundary width control knob clockwise to increase the activation distance. For double loops, ensure boundary wires are separated by at least 5 feet. You may also perform a system test.

  If your Premier Pet Power Supply receiver collar is beeping but your pet isn't responding to the static correction, test the receiver collar with the test light while walking toward the boundary wire. Check the fit of the receiver collar and consider trimming your pet's fur where the contact points touch the neck, or switch to longer contact points. You might also need to increase the static correction level or repeat training steps. A stronger receiver collar may also be needed.

  If the power light is on but the loop indicator light is off on your Premier Pet Power Supply, check the boundary wire connections at the fence transmitter for a secure connection. Inspect the boundary wires for breaks or damage, especially where they enter the house. You can also perform a system test. If the transmitter is working, there may be a break in your boundary wire.
