SELECTIVE CATALYTIC REDUCTION – DRIVER WARNINGS AND INDUCEMENTS
SCR system components must not be removed, altered or modified in any way. In order to protect the SCR
system from tampering, inducement measures will occur if the following states are detected:
l Disconnection of DEF tank level sensor
l Blocked DEF line or dosing valve
l Disconnection of DEF dosing valve
l Disconnection of DEF pump
l Disconnection of SCR wiring harness
l Disconnection of NOx sensor
l Disconnected exhaust temperature sensor
l Disconnected DEF temperature sensor
l Disconnected DEF quality sensor
