XII. WARRANTY
ONE-YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY
For one (1) year from the date of purchase, The SCOOTER Store will repair or replace at our option to the
original purchaser, free of charge, any part or electronic component found upon examination by an authorized
representative of The SCOOTER Store to be defective in material and/or workmanship.
Motor brake: One-year warranty for the electrical function of the motor brake. Brake pads are a wear item and
are not warranted.
Batteries: Are warranted by the manufacturer for six-months from the date of purchase.
Labor, service calls, shipping, and other charges incurred for repair of the product shall be covered by The
SCOOTER Store for one-year from the date of purchase.
Warranty service can be performed by The SCOOTER Store or you may return parts directly to The SCOOTER
Store for service or replacement. Do not return faulty parts to The SCOOTER Store without prior consent. All
transportation costs and shipping damage incurred while submitting parts for repair or replacement are the respon-
sibility of the original purchaser.
WARRANTY EXCLUSIONS
n ABS plastic body and footrest covers (these are wear items and are not warranted)
n Tires (these are wear items and are not warranted)
n Upholstery and seating (these are wear items and are not warranted)
n Repairs and/or modifications made to any part of the PTV without specific and prior written consent from The SCOOTER
Store
n Circumstances beyond the control of The SCOOTER Store
n Damage caused by: battery fluid spillage or leakage, abuse, misuse, accident, or negligence, improper opera-
tion, maintenance, or storage, commercial use or use other than normal
There is no other express warranty.
Implied warranties, including those of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, are limited to one (1)
year from the date of original purchase and to the extent permitted by law. Any and all implied warranties are
excluded. This is the exclusive remedy. Liabilities for consequential damages under any and all warranties are
excluded.
Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts or do not allow the exclusion of
limitation of incidental or consequential damages. So the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you.
