16. Remove the battery box. Refer to the owner’s manual.
17. Remove the main shroud. See figure 8.
18. Reinstall the battery box making sure connector 1h and
connector 6a make contact. See diagram 2.
19. Unplug connector 5a from connector 4a. See diagram 2.
20. Measure voltage across pin 1 and pin 6 on connector 5a.
See figure 9.
— If your multimeter indicates 0VDC, then go to the
next step.
— If your multimeter indicates greater than 18VDC, then
replace the front-to-rear harness (4) and retest the system.
