■ Do not simultaneously con-
nect any other high-load
electrical appliances to the
same circuit.
■ Do not use extension cords
or sockets that do not have
suffi cient capacitance.
■ Do not kink or clamp the
power cord and do not lay it
over sharp edges. This may
fracture the cord.
■ Do not let the power cord
hang down to prevent chil-
dren or pets from pulling it
or getting caught in it.
■ Place the power cord in
such a way that it cannot
be reached or damaged by
either children or pets.
■ In the event of damage,
only have the power cord
replaced by the manufac-
turer, its customer service
team or a similar qualifi ed
person to avoid risks.
■ Do not use the appliance if
the housing or power cord
is defective, the appliance
has fallen down, leaks or ex-
hibits other visible damag-
es.
■ Never insert objects into
the housing or the water
tank, and ensure that chil-
dren also cannot insert ob-
jects therein.
■ If the appliance emits smoke,
smells burnt or produces un-
usual noises, disconnect the
mains plug immediately and
discontinue use. It is nor-
mal for a mild odour to form
when it is switched on for the
fi rst time.
■ Never open the housing.
■ The appliance may only be
repaired by an authorised
specialist company. Only
parts corresponding to the
original appliance specifi -
cations may be used. This
appliance contains electri-
cal and mechanical parts
which are essential for pro-
tection against potential
sources of danger.
■ Do not immerse the appli-
ance itself, the power cord
or the mains plug in water.
