b. Press the Reset button and power will return.
5. Power remains on after the Test Button is pressed. Follow these
steps to resolve the issue.
a. Press the Test Button again to confirm it was activated.
b. Check the tester light code to see if it indicates the issue. Take
steps to fix the indicated problem.
If using a device, stop the generator and disconnect the
device. Plug the device into a working outlet to confirm
the device is not the problem.
c. Consult with a qualified electrician to replace the faulty GFCI
outlet with a new GFCI outlet.
CLEAN THE GENERATOR
Consult the engine manual for instructions before you begin
cleaning the generator. Improper cleaning methods may
damage the engine.
1. Unplug all equipment connected to the generator.
2. Disconnect the battery and set aside to avoid water.
3. Remove debris from all cooling fins, air intakes and exhaust ports.
4. Clean the generator using a well rung-out hand cloth, taking care
when cleaning the control panel to avoid damaging any seals.
5. Allow the generator to air dry before reconnecting battery and
starting it up.
STORAGE
A separate engine manual is included. Please consult it when
necessary.
DISPOSAL
Recycle a tool damaged beyond repair at the appropriate facility.
Contact your local municipality for a list of disposal facilities or by-laws
for electronic devices, batteries, oil or other toxic liquids.
