Why is my pro.point JPC60 engine running but not vibrating?
    • R
      richard12Aug 5, 2025
If the engine of your pro.point Power Tool is running but the machine isn't vibrating, the possible causes are: * The engine throttle is not opened, so open it. * The clutch is damaged, so replace it. * The engine speed is too low because there is too much oil in the vibrator housing, so adjust the oil level. * The drive belt is loose or broken, so adjust or replace it.

      Joshua DunnAug 11, 2025
If your pro.point Power Tool plate compactor isn't reaching its full speed, consider the following: 1. Ensure the engine throttle is fully open. 2. Verify the throttle lever is correctly set. 3. If the ground is too wet, dry it before compacting. 4. Check if the engine mounting bolts are tight and adjust or replace the drive belt if it's loose or worn. 5. Inspect the oil condition and level in the vibrator housing, adding or changing the oil as needed. 6. Clean or replace the air filter cartridge if it's clogged with dust. 7. Check the engine speed with a tachometer and adjust it to the correct speed.

Why does my pro.point JPC60 have slow travel speed and weak vibration?
    • Z
      Zachary KellerAug 16, 2025
If your pro.point Power Tool exhibits slow travel speed and weak vibration, the following could be the reasons: * The engine speed is too slow, so reset the engine RPM appropriately. * The clutch slips, so check and/or replace it. * The drive belt slips, so check and/or replace it. * There is over-filling of vibrator oil, so drain additional oil and maintain it at the appropriate level. * There is a vibrator housing defect, so check eccentric vibrator, gear and counterweight.

Why pro.point Power Tool plate jumps or compacts unevenly?
    • R
      Robert PotterAug 29, 2025
If the pro.point Power Tool plate jumps or compacts unevenly, it could be due to: * The ground surface being too hard, so wet the soil or ground and allow it to seep in before compacting. * The rubber isolator being loose or damaged, so adjust or replace the rubber isolator.
