ADJUST THE SAW BLADE
To obtain a clear perpendicular 90° cut, after you have assembled
the saw you must check the angle of the saw blade relative to the
angle adjustment scale (1) on the operator side and make any
further adjustments that may be necessary.
1. Raise the saw blade (Q) as far as possible using the hand wheel
(T) (Fig. 1).
2. Set an angle of 90° on the saw blade between the teeth. Now turn
the hand wheel (T) until the saw blade is precisely against the
angle stop (Fig. 2).
3. If the display on the scale pointer (2) is not the same as that on
the angle scale (1), undo the Philips screw on the scale pointer
(2) and push it to precisely 0 on the angle scale (1) (Fig. 3).
Check the precise angle cut on a test piece and adjust it if neces-
sary.
