the tire when engaged.
7. Repeat STEPS 1-6 until the wheel lock shoe embeds the tire 1/8-inch and HOLDS
the occupied wheelchair in place when pushed.
8. Repeat STEPS 1-7 for the opposite wheel lock.
9. If the measurement of 1/8-inch cannot be achieved, contact a qualified technician.
INSTALLING SEAT POSITIONING STRAP
1. Perform one (1) of the following:
FOR: DX Manual, Standard Lightweight,
Reclining and Bariatric Wheelchairs:
Remove the mounting screw and
washer securing the bottom back
upholstery to the back cane.
FOR: Deluxe/Standard High Strength
Lightweight Manual Wheelchairs:
Remove the mounting screw and
washer securing the rear seat
upholstery to the seat frame.
2. Align half of the seat-positioning strap with the wheelchair and upholstery.
3. Secure the upholstery and seat-positioning strap to the wheelchair with the existing
upholstery screw.
4. Repeat STEP 1-3 for the opposite side of the wheelchair.
