What to do if the Procom Indoor Fireplace burner(s) does not light after the ODS/pilot is lit?
    • C
      Christopher WilliamsAug 20, 2025
If the burner(s) of your Procom Indoor Fireplace fails to light after the ODS/pilot is lit, the burner orifice may be clogged. Clean the burner orifice or replace it. Another potential cause is that the burner orifice diameter might be too small, in which case you should replace the burner orifice. Also, the inlet gas pressure might be too low, so contact your local gas supplier.

What to do if the Procom Indoor Fireplace ODS/pilot lights but flame goes out when control knob is released?
    • T
      Tanya RhodesAug 22, 2025
If the pilot light goes out when you release the control knob on your Procom Indoor Fireplace, make sure the control knob is fully pressed in and held for at least 30 seconds after the pilot lights. Ensure the equipment shutoff valve is fully open. Check the thermocouple connection at the control valve and hand tighten it until snug, then tighten it an additional 1/4 turn. The pilot flame may not be touching the thermocouple, causing it to cool, so contact your local gas company or clean/replace the ODS/pilot assembly. The thermocouple may also be damaged, requiring replacement. In rare cases, the control valve itself could be damaged, in which case you should contact customer service.

Why does my Procom Indoor Fireplace heater shut off in use (ODS operates)?
    • S
      Sara PerezAug 25, 2025
Your Procom Indoor Fireplace might be shutting off during use because not enough fresh air is available; try opening a window or door for ventilation. Another possibility is low line pressure, in which case you should contact your local gas supplier. Also, the ODS/pilot might be partially clogged, so try cleaning it.

      Audrey JohnsonAug 26, 2025

What to do if the Procom Indoor Fireplace ignitor button is pressed in there is a spark at ODS/pilot but no pilot flame present?
    • M
      Melinda HollandAug 28, 2025
If you're getting a spark but no pilot flame when pressing the ignitor button on your Procom Indoor Fireplace, first ensure the gas supply is on and the equipment shutoff valve is open. Make sure the control knob is fully pressed in while pressing the ignitor button and is in the PILOT position. If it's a new installation or there's been a recent gas interruption, there might be air in the gas lines; continue holding down the control knob and repeat the igniting operation until the air is removed. The ODS/pilot could be clogged, so clean or replace it. Also, check for incorrect inlet gas pressure or a damaged inlet regulator. If you are using propane, the gas supply may be depleted; contact your local propane/LP gas company.

    • K
      Kristin CunninghamAug 30, 2025
If your Procom Indoor Fireplace is experiencing delayed ignition of the burner(s), it could be due to low manifold pressure; contact your local gas supplier. Alternatively, the burner orifice might be clogged; clean the burner or replace the burner orifice.

Why does my Procom Indoor Fireplace have a high yellow flame during burner combustion?
    • J
      Joshua MarshSep 1, 2025
A high yellow flame during burner combustion in your Procom Indoor Fireplace could indicate that there's not enough air. Check the burner for dirt and debris and clean it if necessary. The gas regulator might be defective, requiring replacement. It's also possible that the inlet gas pressure is too low, so contact your local gas supplier.

What to do if the Procom Indoor Fireplace burner backfiring during combustion?
    • T
      Tyler HudsonSep 3, 2025
If your Procom Indoor Fireplace burner is backfiring during combustion, the burner orifice may be clogged or damaged; clean or replace it. The burner itself could be damaged, so contact your dealer or customer service. A damaged gas regulator could also be the cause, so replace the gas regulator.

Why does my Procom Indoor Fireplace produce unwanted odors?
    • J
      Julie OwensSep 5, 2025
Your Procom Indoor Fireplace might be producing unwanted odors because it's burning vapors from paint, hair spray, glues, etc. Ventilate the room and stop using odor-causing products while the heater is running. There could also be a gas leak, so locate and correct all leaks. If you have a propane/LP model, a low fuel supply could be the issue; refill the supply tank.

What to do if the Procom Indoor Fireplace makes a whistling noise when burner is lit?
    • K
      Kylie WellsSep 7, 2025
If your Procom Indoor Fireplace is making a whistling noise when the burner is lit, try turning the control knob to the low (1) position and let it warm up for a minute. There might be air in the gas line, so operate the burner until the air is removed and have the gas line checked by your local gas supplier. Also, check for blocked air passageways on the heater and ensure minimum installation clearances are observed. A dirty or partially clogged burner orifice could also be the cause, so clean or replace the burner orifice.
