      To fix a walking belt that is off-center or slips on your ProForm Treadmill: * First, remove the key and unplug the power cord. * If the belt is off-center to the left, turn the left rear roller bolt clockwise 1/2 turn. If it's off-center to the right, turn the bolt counterclockwise 1/2 turn. Be careful not to overtighten the belt. * If the belt slips, turn both rear roller bolts clockwise 1/4 turn. Ensure you can lift each side of the belt 2 to 3 inches off the platform when it's correctly tightened. Plug in the power cord, insert the key, and walk on the treadmill for a few minutes to test. Repeat adjustments until the belt is centered and properly tightened.

After a few seconds, reinsert the key. The treadmill will automatically rise to the maximum incline level and then return to the minimum level, recalibrating the incline system.

      If the walking belt on your ProForm Treadmill slows down when you walk on it, ensure you are using a single-outlet surge suppressor that meets the specified requirements. Also, the walking belt might be overtightened. To correct this, remove the key and unplug the power cord. Then, use an Allen wrench to turn both rear roller adjustment bolts counterclockwise by 1/4 of a turn. The walking belt should be tightened correctly when you can lift each side 2 to 3 inches off the walking platform. Plug the power cord back in, insert the key, and run the treadmill for a few minutes. Repeat these steps until the belt is properly tightened.
