Installation
WARNING: This heater requires hardwire installation (no plug). The installation of this
product must be carried out by a Certified Electrician and in accordance with all local
and national electrical codes.
CAUTION: Risk of fire – Do not operate without complete the installation.
Before using, the heater must be correctly installed.
1. It must be secured to a wall, more than 24 in (610 mm) away from the floor and adjacent
walls (Fig. 1). Do not install the heater below an electrical convenience outlet. Also,
the unit cannot be covered or hidden by a door.
2. Draw a horizontal line and a vertical centre line on the wall (Fig. 2).
On the horizontal line, drill two holes 76 mm (3") from the centre line with a diameter as
that of the wall plugs provided, then drill another hole on the centre line below the
horizontal line, apart 398 mm (Fig.2).
3. Insert three wall plugs.
4. Drive two screws provided into two upper wall plugs, leaving a gap of 5/16 in (8 mm)
between the screw head and the wall (Fig. 2).
