produced during the first-time use of many appliances. These fumes are not harmful to
humans, but we recommend that you do not use your heater around birds and small pets
during its initial use until the manufacturing corrosion (anti-corrosion) coatings burn off.

    What to do if my ProFusion NDB-1Y Heater won't turn on?

      If your ProFusion Heater isn't powering on, first, make sure the unit is in the OFF position, then plug it into a 120V polarized outlet/receptacle and try again. Also, check your electrical box to confirm the breaker hasn't tripped, especially if the heater shares an outlet with another high-power appliance. If tripped, reset the breaker, ensure the heater is OFF, plug it back in, and try turning it on. You might also try plugging the unit into a different outlet.

      A burning smell from your ProFusion Heater can occur if a drop of oil fell on the heating coil during manufacturing; this should evaporate quickly. Ensure the room is well ventilated. Also, check that there are no combustible materials within 3' (0.9 m) of the heater and remove them if there are, ensuring proper air intake.
