COOLANT FLOW (03) & OVERHEAT (04) Diagnostic Codes
Efficient operation of the heater requires a sufficient amount of coolant in the system and coolant flow.
Problems with the vehicle and PROHEAT coolant system are indicated by the above diagnostic codes.
The OVERHEAT sensor has a manual reset. This device protects the heater from damage and the
coolant system must be checked thoroughly before resetting. See Installation and Service manual
925860 at www.proheat.com for details.
• For at least 3 gallons of coolant in the system, ensure the radiator is topped up
• That coolant line shut off valves are open
• That sleeper heater coolant controls are in the full heat position
