LEVELING THE DECK (SIDE TO SIDE)
Check the mower’s tire pressure before performing any deck leveling
adjustments.
If the cutting deck appears to be moving unevenly, a side-by-side adjustment can be
performed.
If Necessary, Adjust as Follows:

and check the tire pressure.
2. Put blocks under the Front edge of
the Cutting Deck that are 1 and 1/8-
inch (26 mm) tall.
3. Put blocks under the Rear edge of
the Cutting Deck that are 1 and 1/4-
inch (31 mm) tall.
4. Adjust the Lock Nuts (Right and Left)
to keep the deck in touch with the 1
and 1/8 inch (26 mm) tall blocks
under the Front Edge (Figure Front
Edge).
5. Adjust the Lock Nuts to keep the
deck in touch with the 1 and 1/4 inch
(31 mm) tall blocks under the Rear
edge (Figure Rear Edge).
Clockwise to raise counterclockwise to lower the cutting deck.
