What to do if there is no change in recovery volume in Protec Protection Device?
If the Protec Protection Device displays no change in recovery volume, first stop recovery. Then, check if the support screw of the gas cylinder load cell is loosened according to the 'Operation preparations' chapter. Finally, calibrate or change the gas cylinder load cell, or replace the PCA.
Why does the recovery function not stop on my Protec AC-200-dual?
If the Protec Protection Device recovery function does not stop, it could be due to a leakage in the automotive A/C or equipment pipeline. Perform a leakage test, referring to the service manual for the machine leakage test. Alternatively, the compressor may not be working, in which case it should be replaced. A faulty pressure sensor can also cause this issue; try fastening the pressure sensor connection to the PCA or replacing the pressure sensor.
