CALIBRATION AND PUMP TIME
ADJUSTMENTS
These adjustments are made using the
potentiometers located on the back panel of
the unit.
O
2
SPAN SETTING
Accurate calibration of the O
2
reading
can be checked at any time by sampling
a calibration standard in the range of
100 to 1000 ppm. If the reading is off, it
can be set by adjusting the O
2
SPAN
potentiometer, with the screwdriver
supplied with the unit.
The instrument is calibrated for best
accuracy across the range. However, if
you would like to maximize the accuracy
either in the high, or low, sections of the
range, you can calibrate the instrument
to any point you like.
For example, if you want the instrument
to be accurate between 0 and 100ppm,
you could calibrate it to 50ppm.
However, you may magnify the error
above 100ppm.
Please keep in mind the tips about flow
rate in the previous section.
