As you can see, the ideal flow rate is 1L/min
entering the analyzer. If you measure the flow
rate leaving the instrument, it will be less, as
the internal plumbing and sensor creates a
restraint on the flow.
It is recommended that the analyzer operate at
above freezing and below 50
o
C.
RESPONSE TIME
Typical response times are shown below:
When operating at the recommended flow rate:
7 seconds from 1000 to 100 ppm
15 seconds from 100 to 10 ppm
up to 3 minutes for 10ppm to 0ppm
When operating using the internal pump:
10 seconds from 1000 to 100 ppm
20 seconds from 100 to 10 ppm
up to 5 minutes for 10ppm to 0ppm
PRESERVING THE SENSOR
There are check valves installed on the exit
from the sensor. These also allow flow only in
one direction. The check valves limit the
exposure of the sensor to ambient air which
has 20.9% O

. Ultimately, even if you expose
