28 Introduction
Removing the Control Module Cover Plates
Required tools: #2 Phillips screwdriver
From the control module, remove the following (see Figure 10
). Save the cover plates to reinstall later.
• LBX/IEX cover plate — Loosen two thumbscrews.
• Service port panel — Loosen two thumbscrews. You can leave the panel dangling or remove it.
• Cover plate between the upper and lower drive clusters. Loosen the four thumbscrews that retain
the cover plate.
• Bottom drive cluster cover plate. Loosen two thumbscrews.
