Known Issues 5
PCR18376 — Unable to connect using IPv6 site and global address RH5.1 0
When using Red Hat 5.1, Firefox 1.5.0.12, or other browsers, you may not be able to
connect to the SuperLoader 3 system. This is caused by the operating system itself
directing network traffic to a virtual network interface. The failure is intermittent. Red Hat
5.0, Red Hat 4.0, and other operating systems work fine.
PCR17868 — Loses DHCP connection and gets "Software Error Type 50" and 0
PCR16961 — Unable to reconnect to network address, after several hours/days of
testing
0
If the SuperLoader 3 system is on a network with hosts that repeatedly accesses
unsupported ports, the SuperLoader 3’s network interface can lock up, and possibly get a
“Software Error Type 50” message on the OCP. This is not typically done in a customer
environment.
PCR18227 — Software Error Type 50 when changing from DHCP to Static IPv4
address
0
When using the RMU Configuration->Network page to set the IPv4 method of obtaining
an IP address, if one selects DHCP and submits this, and then unchecks DHCP and
submits a static IP address, and repeatedly does this sometimes up to 20 times, the
network interfaces can lock and require a power cycle or autoloader reset to clear this up.
In some rarer instances, up to 5 times can lock up the network interfaces.
Autoclean 0
PCR3928 — Autoclean doesn't start automatically on Quantum LT02HH (V1914) and
LTO3FH drive (V1994)
0
The autoclean feature does not work on Quantum LTO2-HH drives running V1914 and
Quantum LTO3-FH drives running V1994.
Host Environment 0
PCR9621 — Append Write/Read test failed during Write Filemark for 0B/4E/00 0
For the S4 FC drive with firmware version V41, the host computer’s QLogic® FC driver
version 9.1.4.15 or later must be used. The driver version 8.2.0.10 has problems during
writing of a filemark.
PCR17488 — SCSI: Persistent Reserve Out APTPL (once set) does not persistent
across power cycle (universal, HPLTO4) and
0
PCR17487 — SCSI: Persistent Reserve Out register service action with APTPL bit
set is rejected (universal, HPLTO4) and
0
PCR17475 — SCSI: Persistent Reserve Out requests indicating type 1 or 5 are
rejected
0
HP LTO4 drives do not send persistent reserve/release commands on to the autoloader.
