IMPORTANT! Setup harness before
installing car seat in vehicle.
B. HARNESS STRAP PLACEMENT
Rear-Facing: Harness straps MUST be
at or just below the child’s shoulders.
Top of head must be 1.5 in (3.8 cm)
below the top of the car seat shell.
Forward-Facing: Harness straps MUST
be above the child’s shoulders. Top of
child’s ears MUST be below top of car
seat shell.
C. BUCKLE SLOT PLACEMENT
Rear-Facing: Any of three buckle positions
are acceptable, as long as the harness is
snug on the child's shoulders and child is
not sitting directly on top of center buckle.
Forward-Facing:
• 22–30 lb (10–13.6 kg) MUST use the
middle buckle slot ONLY!
• Above 30 lb (13.6 kg) MUST use the
forward most buckle slot ONLY!
