Install
Batteries
1.
Remove
the
rubber
boot
ifit
is
attached
2.
Turn
off
your
meter.
Loosen
the
screw
and
remove
the
battery
cover.
3.
Insert
two
AA
batteries
(not
supplied),
matching
the
polarity
symbols
(+
and
=)
marked
inside.
4.
Secure
the
battery
cover
with
the
screw.
Battery
Notes:
+
Useonly
fresh
batteries
of
the
required
size
and
recommended
type.
+
Dispose
of
old
batteries
promptly
and
properly.
Do
not
burn
or
bury
them.
+
Ifyou
do
not
plan
to
use
the
meter
for
a
month
or
more,
remove
the batteries.
Batteries
can
leak
chemicals
that
can
destroy
electronic
parts.

appears
or
the
meter
stops
operating
properly.
replace
the
batteries.

Use
the
Stand
(Optional)
You
can
fold
out
the
stand
on
the
back
of
the
meter
to
place
it
upright on
a
flat
surface
for
easier
viewing.

Use
the
Rubber
Boot
(Optional)
The
rubber
boot
protects
your
meter
from
damage
and
stores the
test
leads.
You
can
also
use
it
to
mount
your
meter
on
a
wall
with
a
screw
(not
supplied).
Flip
up
to
mount
on
a
screw.
Store
the
test
leads
when
notin
use.
