Connect
the
Test
Leads
1.
Remove
the
plastic
plugs
before
using
your
test
leads.
2. Slide
up
the
Sliding
Guard
to
show
the
test
lead
sockets.
3.
Plug
the
black
test
lead
into
~COM
(common), then
plug
the
red
test
lead
into
+V.mA.Q.
To
measure
current
higher
than
400maA,
plug
the
red
test
lead
into
+10A MAX
instead
of +V.mA.Q.

the
test
leads
are
rated
for
1000
volts,
and the
maximum
rating
of
this
meteris 1000
volts DC
/
750
volts
RMS
AC,
do
not
try
to
measure
voltage
greater
than
1000
volts
DC
/

volts
RMS AC.

meter sounds
a
warning
tone
when
you
set
it
to
measure
anything
except
current
and
you
connect
a
test
lead
to
+10A
MAX. This
reminds
you
not
to
touch the
circuit
with
the
test
leads.
